Table Read Podcast
Prior to awe-inspiring and breathtakingly breathtaking cold Table Reads of magnificent scripts and fantastic screenplays, we usually discuss in some depth some aspect of the performing arts or arts in general or the arts industries or related life lessons, sort of a presentational brainstorming session with rounded edges and big chunks of chewy chocolate. (Memo to self: never write descriptions when hungry for chocolate.) We’re unabashedly seldom at a loss for pithy words or pithy rhetoric, which is really good if you like pithy, no matter what the topic, perfect qualities for a Table Read podcast or the ancient Roman Senate, SPQR y’all. These podcasts are dedicated to the memory of our dear friend, writer, and fellow performing artist, the incomparable Eugene McDaniels.

The Tent part 3
•
Chase Bailey, Heidi Bunnell, Duncan Watt, and Dennis Collins Johnson
Host Dennis Johnson welcomes Chase Bailey, Heidi Bunnell, and Duncan Watt to a rollicking discussion of film, music, theatre, their respective businesses and related arts, followed by a cold table read of the screenplay The Tent which concludes with part 3. For this episode, Table Read Podcast moved to Chase's art studio amid many lovely paintings both finished and unfinished. The opening music is The Girls Are Going to the Movies, melody and lyric by Dennis Johnson, arrangement by AutoRap. And a special thanks to Rudy!
